an unusual souvenir, consisting of a 6.25 x 4.25 x 5.15" wooden box covered with decorative chromolithographed paper, with one side containing a 2.25 x 3.75" opening made to appear as an elaborate column and drapery flanked theater stage, with with "1492" and "1892" at the top, and "WORLD'S FAIR" at the bottom. The box rests on four wooden feet which turn to control a continuous paper roll upon which are lithographed portraits of the American Presidents from George Washington to Benjamin Harrison. By turning the knobs, the portraits move across the stage.
The top of the box features a chromo of the Landing of Columbus; the back with the U.S. Capital , left side with Masonic Temple, Chicago and right side with printed index of the Presidents with dates and number of terms served on ribbon scroll with bald eagle atop U.S. shield.
An outstanding political which we have never seen.
