Stockman is an unusual artist in that he works almost entirely in white porcelain and blue slip. This does not however inhibit his creativity and his work ranges from single cylinders to massive installations of over 600 pieces. Stockman also works as a designer for industry and his cup and saucer 'Sonja' for Royal Mosa is still in production after 40 years with over 50 million cups produced as well as numerous pirated versions.
