**1911A1 .22 Conversion with Remington .45ACP Slide and Two Additional Magazines, Original Slide
.22 LR. 5" barrel length. SN: C217022. Single-action semi-automatic pistol. Parkerized metal finish to slide and frame. Item has a checkered trigger, hammer, and hard checkered plastic grips. It also has an adjustable rear sight, a fixed front sight, grip safety, and an extended hammer. Currently eqipped with a removable 10-shot magazine, and features a Colt .45 caliber to .22 caliber conversion kit that is currently installed. Marked to left of slide Conversion Unit COLT Automatic Cal.22 LR with standard manufacturer marks to right of slide, and serial number to right of frame. Also included are two 10-shot .22 caliber magazines, and a Remington Rand .45 caliber slide and barrel. The serial number falls outside of actual Colt serial number production for commercial 1911A1 frames and appears to have been applied to a frame from another maker with no other indications that Colt produced the frame.
