9mm Parabellum. 4" barrel length. SN: 9829. Single-action semi automatic pistol with removable black plastic knobbed 8-shot magazine, military lanyard ring, and fixed v-notch and ramp sights. Blued military finish, silver accoutrements, and checkered walnut grips. Markings include two Simson-era (Eagle/33) proofs to top of barrel. There are also Imperial German marks to right of slide, right of barrel, and to left of center toggle link. Front of breech is marked "1913", and center toggle link features "DWM" stamp. Serial number is marked to front of frame, left of slide, and has partial serial number marks to small parts and magazine knob.
Provenance:From the Collection of Charlie Hinton
Condition:
Very good. Bore is minty and rifling is sharp. Finish remains in good condition with some light losses and pitting to sharp edges. Yellow-brown strawing or patina to silver accoutrements. Center toggle link appears to have residue that makes cocking slide somewhat difficult.
