** byf 44 Code P38 Pistol by Mauser with Holster
9mm, 4.9" barrel, S/N 118e. Phosphate and blued finish, grooved brown Bakelite grips. Matching visible serial numbers. Two {Eagle}/135 inspection marks on right of slide and an {Eagle} proof. Left of slide simply marked P.38 at the front followed by byf/44 with the serial number near the safety. Includes a pair of P38/U marked magazines without any inspection marks. Pistol is accompanied by a P38 marked black leather hardshell holster mark marked bdr/43 with an Eagle/WaA46 inspection mark.
Condition:
Very good. Fame and slide with much of their dull gray phosphate finish, barrel with a purplish tone. Mechanically functional, very good bore. Grips with some scuffs and handling marks. One magazine moderately oxidized. Holster with some surface scuffs and wear.
