Civil War Arsenal .44 Caliber Gang Mold
13.25" overall, with blued steel body and turned walnut grips with brass ferrules. Mold contains 6 cavities to cast .44 elongated pistol bullets with a single grease groove. Blued sprue cutter. Mold body marked 44H, both handles inspected A.H.K. (Albert H. Kirkham).
Condition:
Fine. Retains some of the blued finish the rest a smoky blue-gray patina with scattered surface oxidation. Cavities crisp and fine. Grips with handling marks and a couple of tight grain cracks. Brass with an uncleaned patina.
