Colt Model 1862 Pocket Police Revolver
.36 caliber, 4.5" barrel, S/N 19758 (mfg. ca1863). Blued and color casehardened finish, silver plated brass backstrap and triggerguard, smooth one-piece varnished walnut grip. All visible numbers match, including wedge and arbor, with cylinder mismatched and numbered 9726 on the back. One-line New York barrel address.

Condition:
Very good. Retains some blued finish with thinning and loss, showing some scuffs and wear, frame with traces of case color, brass with traces of tarnished silver. Mechanically functional, fine bore. Cylinder with some excessive wear marks around one flute. Grip with wear and finish loss, bumps and dings and some flattening of the sharp edges.
