** Colt Model 1903 Type I Pocket Auto, Model M

.32ACP, 4" barrel, S/N 18748 (mfg. ca1905). Blued finish, checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt grips with embossed COLT name. Single action, semi-automatic hammerless pistol with 4" barrel. Barrel bushing, grip and frame mounted safeties, no magazine safety. Right side of slide roll marked in two lines: AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. Left side of slide roll marked in two, two-line sections: "BROWNING PATENT" / APR.20,1897 DEC.22,1903 and COLT'S PAT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CONN. USA. {Rampant Colt} logo at rear of slide on left. Includes a single blued 7-round magazine marked CAL. 32 / COLT on the bottom. A lovely, early production M1903 in a very nice state of preservation. 

Condition:

Fine. Retains most of the blue with some loss due to high edge wear, particularly around the muzzle. Small parts retaining much of their bright niter blued finish. A small amount of surface oxidation is present on the barrel hood and around the rear edge of the ejection port. All markings clear and crisp, mechanically functional, very good bore will clean to fine. Grips crisp with some light handling marks and no breaks, cracks or repairs.
