**Colt New Service Model 1909 Army

.45 ACP. 5.5" barrel length. SN: 38093. Double-action revolver with fluted swing out cylinder, military lanyard ring, cartridge extractor, and fixed notch and shark fin sights. Blued metal finish and plain walnut grips. Markings include standard manufacturer marks to frame and barrel. There are two inspectors marks on this gun, one for Colonel Frank Baker (F.B.) on right of frame, and Rinaldo A. Carr (R.A.C.) marks to frame and butt of right grip. Also to butt is "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1909 No. 38093". This specimen was manufactured sometime in 1911. 

Condition:

Fair to good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Cartridge chambers are clean. Finish is in rough shape with pitting and surface oxidation appearing overall, losses to barrel and backstrap. Wood grips have scratches and dings overall.
