Lock marked "1862/TOWER" forward of hammer with the {British Crown} without a VR under it behind the hammer. Very good. Barrel with traces of blue mostly faded and oxidized to plum, showing some scattered surface oxidation and pinpricking. Mechanically functional, very good bore is mostly bright with some oxidation and scattered light pitting. Stock very good with some softening of the sharp edges and scattered bumps, dings and mars.
