.22 Hornet. 7.5" heavy barrel length. SN: 178102. Composite single action revolver with a fixed fluted 6-shot heavy cylinder and fixed notch and blade sights. Cylinder does not appear to be a Colt made cylinder, and heavy tapered .22 caliber barrel also appears to be a custom application. Item has a blued finish. Left grip appears to be checkered black hard rubber, while right grip appears to be of gutta-percha with a patriotic eagle relief. Along with composite barrel, cylinder, and grips, this item appears to have also been refinished. Frame has a manufacture date of 1898.
Fair. Bore is bright. Refinish has light scratching and some pit marks scattered overall. Grips have smoothed checkering due to handling wear. Item has not been fired. Item should be carefully examined before firing considering cylinder and barrel do not appear to be original Colt productions. Being sold as a non firing handgun.
