9mm Parabellum. 4" barrel length. SN: 6042C. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with removable 8-shot magazine and fixed sights. Blued military finish to slide and frame, with strawed accoutrements and checkered walnut grips. Marked to front of breech is military date 1915, with DWM manufacturer mark on top of center toggle link. Serial number is marked under barrel and to front of frame, with partial serial numbers marked to left of slide, frame, and to top of center toggle link. There are (DWM Imperial German) military proofs stamped to right side of slide, and to left side of center toggle link. Safety toggle is marked Gesichert. Front strap features the regiment marking 169.R.8.2., indicating it was sidearm number 2, used by 8th Company, of the 169th Reserve Cavalry Regiment. Magazine has serial number 8059 marked to wood knob. Includes black leather military holster marked A. Wertheim/1915, with an extra wood knob magazine. All serial numbers are matching on pistol.

Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp, shows signs of pitting. Minor losses to finish near muzzle and on trigger plate. Item has some small scratches and dings overall.
