**Early Production Rock-Ola US M1 Carbine
.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 1682515. Parkerized finish, I-cut high-wood stock. Top of receiver marked ROCK-OLA over the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Stock marked RMC in sling cut, with soft {Ordnance Wheel} and RMC cartouche on obverse stock. Barrel marked Rock-Ola / 2-43 and with P proof forward of chamber. Flat Parkerized bolt top, S and BR marked Type I rear sight, unmarked front sight, unmarked Type I barrel band, ROCK-OLA marked trigger housing, KR marked hammer. Throat erosion 1, muzzle erosion 1.5. Includes a single RO marked 15-round Type I magazine, a Type II WWII OD Green sling and an oiler.

Condition:
Very good. Retains much of the thinning Parkerized finish, with Parkerized bolt. Clear markings in metal, softer in wood. Mechanically functional, fine bore is bright with some frosting near the muzzle. Stock lightly sanded, with some scattered handling marks.
