.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 1359365. Parkerized finish, blued bolt, oval-cut high-wood stock. Top of receiver marked UNDERWOOD over the serial number with a weak {Ordnance Bomb} below the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Lightly sanded stock with P-U marking in sling cut, a tiny {Ordnance Bomb} on obverse between the oiler cut and the butt and no "Circle-P" or "P" proof present in the wood. Two-rivet hand guard marked M-U on interior. Barrel marked in three lines: UNDERWOOD / 11-42 / {Ordnance Bomb} and with a P about 3.5" from the muzzle. Flat bolt top, S marked Type I rear sight, 6 marked front sight, unmarked blued Type I barrel band, trigger housing with small circle mark on bottom, U marked hammer. Throat erosion 1.5, muzzle erosion 1.5. Includes a single U marked 15-round Type I magazine, a post-WWII OD Green sling and an oiler.

Condition:
Very good. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some light wear and loss. Markings in metal remain crisp. Mechanically functional, bore with some frosting and lightly scattered oxidation. Stock with a number of small impact marks on the reverse at the comb, and showing some additional light handling marks.
