.52 caliber smooth bore, 10.125" octagonal barrel, no S/N. Browned Damascus patterned barrel with gold highlights and decorations. Top of barrel marked in gold CANON A DAMAS. Engraved back action percussion lock marked GASTEINNE / RENETTE / A PARIS. Adjustable trigger. Checkered grip with carved shell motif forend cap, fixed notch rear sigh dovetailed blade front sight.
Condition:
Very good. Barrel moderately oxidized with visible swirling Damascus patterning, retaining no finish but with an attractive brown patina. Mechanically functional, bore smooth and moderately oxidized with evenly distributed pitting. Stock with moderate wear and scattered bumps, dings and mars.
