** German Police Marked J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 38 H Pistol with Police Marked Holster
7.65mm (.32ACP), 3.375" barrel, S/N 407597. Blued finish, checkered black plastic Sauer & Son double-S logo grips. Left side of slide marked in a single line J.P. SAUER & SOHN . SUHL and additionally above the de-cocking lever CAL. 7.65. Forward left side of triggerguard web is marked with the Third Reich police Eagle/G mark. Right side of frame marked with Eagle/N proof under the serial number behind the grip with the right side of the slide marked PATENT. Pistol includes a single unmarked blued magazine and a black leather flap holster that is stamp marked Primoss / Stuttgart on the interior and stamped with a crisp EALGE/B Police inspection mark.
Condition:
Fine. Retains much of the blued finish with some thinning and light wear along the high edges. Clear markings, crisp edges, sharp grips. Mechanically functional, fine bore. Holster near fine, crisply marked with some light wear, scuffing and crazing.
