** IBM Corp. M1 Carbine w/ Extra Magazines

.30 caliber. 18" barrel length. SN: 8950117. Gas operated semi automatic rifle with removable magazine, low wood, and fixed rear flip sight and blade front sight with ear protectors. Parkerized military finish and plain semi pistol grip walnut stock. Features a Type-II wide barrel band without bayonet lug, oval stock cutaway, two riveted handguard, round top bolt, and push button safety and magazine release. Markings include "U.S. CARBINE/CAL.30 M1" to front of receiver, and "I.B.M. CORP./{serial number}" to rear of receiver. Stock has a {crossed cannons} Ordnance Department cartouche to right side of butt, and a "V" cartouche marked to stock under grip. Barrel is marked "I.B.M. CORP." behind front sight, and there is a "P" proof to mid barrel area. Push button safety is marked "EP-B" to left side.  Includes olive drab nylon sling, and magazine pouch that is marked "U.S." to front flap and "ATLAS AWNING/1942" to backside. 

Condition:

Good to very good. Bore is frosty and rifling is good. Finish to barrel has pitting overall. Wood stock has some light scratches and dings overall. Handguard wood appears to be two separate joined pieces, or a hairline crack extending entire length of wood. 1.5" hairline crack to right side of grip. Sling and pouch are in good condition.
