** Inland Division M1 Carbine Paratrooper w/ Extra Magazines
.30 caliber. 18" barrel length. SN: 907452. Gas operated semi automatic rifle with removable magazine, high wood, and flip up rear and blade front sight with ear protectors. Parkerized military finish and plain pistol grip walnut stock with folding metal buttstock. Features a Type-I narrow barrel band, two riveted handguard, flat top bolt, folding stock, and push button safety and magazine release. Markings include "U.S. CARBINE/CAL.30 M1" to front of receiver, and "INLAND DIV./{serial number}" to rear of receiver. Folding stock is marked "B257614 {* in circle} 8" to buttplate. There is also {crossed cannons} Ordnance Department cartouche to bottom of pistol grip, and an {encircled "P"} cartouche to rear of wood stock. Barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/8-43" behind front sight, and "P" to mid-barrel area. Includes olive drab nylon sling and magazine pouch marked "U.S." to front flap, and "ATLAS MFG. CO." to backside.
Condition:
Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Retains most of finish with some light scratches and evidence of thinning toward muzzle of barrel. Wood stock is in great condition and only shows some light scratches overall. Sling and magazine pouch are in great condition as well.
