** Inland Division M1 Carbine w/ Scope, Extra Magazines

.30 caliber. 18" barrel length. SN: 5121174. Gas operated semi automatic rifle with removable magazine, low wood, and blade front sight with ear protectors. Parkerized military finish and plain semi pistol grip walnut stock. Features a Type-I narrow barrel band, four riveted handguard, oval stock cutaway, round top bolt, and push button safety and magazine release. Markings include "U.S. CARBINE/CAL. .30 M1" to front of receiver, and "INLAND DIV./{serial number}" to rear of receiver. Stock has a {crossed cannons} Ordnance Department cartouche to right side of butt. Barrel has faint "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/3-44" marks behind front sight, and a faint "P" to top of mid barrel area. Sling swivel on front barrel band is marked "UI" to left side. Attached is a U.S. military issue M84 2.2x18mm scope. Included is an olive drab nylon sling. Also included is an olive drab magazine pouch marked "U.S" to front flap and "BISCAYNE TENT & AWNING CO./INC./1943" to backside, with two extra magazines. 

Condition:

Good to very good. Appears refinished. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Barrel has some losses and thinned areas. Lettering to barrel marks are very faint, and letter marks to receiver appear smooth. Wood stock has some minor dings and scratches overall, but is in otherwise good condition. Scope is clear but shows blurring to crosshairs. Sling has faint felt-tip marker inscription.
