** Inland Division M1 Carbine w/ Scope, Extra Magazines

.30 caliber. 18" barrel length. SN: 5230588. Gas operated semi automatic rifle with removable magazine, low wood, and blade front sight with ear protectors. Parkerized military finish and plain semi pistol grip walnut stock. Features a Type-II wide barrel band, four riveted handguard, flat top bolt, oval stock cutaway, and push button safety and magazine release. Markings include "U.S. CARBINE" to front of receiver, and "CAL. .30 M1" to rear of receiver. Stock has {crossed cannons} Ordnance Department cartouche to right side of butt. Barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/1-44" behind front sight, and there is a "P" mark to mid-barrel area. Attached is a Type-III Weaver M73B1 scope with leather lens protectors, on a mount marked "8247-39-1". Includes olive drab nylon sling and magazine pouch that is marked "U.S." to front flap, and "BOYLE/1942" to backside. Pouch includes one oiled wrapped magazine, and one unwrapped magazine. 

Condition:

Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Finish has some light scratches and possible thinning to barrel, thinning to finish on bolt. Wood stock is in good condition, with scratches, minor dings, bites overall. Scope is clear but crosshairs seem to be slightly crooked and blurred. Sling and pouch are in good condition.
