**Inland M1A1 Type II Paratrooper Carbine
.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 6904104. Parkerized finish, second series low-wood paratrooper stock. Top of receiver marked INLAND DIV. over the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Lightly sanded stock marked RA-P on obverse above grip with soft {Ordnance Wheel} inspection on lower grip and seriffed-P on face of grip. Bottom of grip marked RI/3. Folding stock with cast buttplate with B257614 * 8 marking on interior edge with leather cheek rest attached with Parkerized steel rivets. Four-rivet hand guard marked HI on interior. Barrel marked in three lines: INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 2-45. Round bolt top, I.R. CO marked Type III rear sight, R marked front sight, KI marked Type III barrel band with bayonet lug, Inland logo marked trigger housing, W marked hammer. Throat erosion 1.5, muzzle erosion 1.5. Includes a single KI marked 15-round Type II magazine, a post-WWII OD Green sling and an oiler.

Condition:
Very good to fine, as arsenal refurbished. Retains much of the Parkerized finish with some thinning and light wear. Markings in metal and wood remain clear and legible. Mechanically functional, fine bore with crisp rifling and some frosting. Stock with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
