**Mauser 42 Code P08 Luger Pistol Dated 1940 with Holster
9mm, 4" barrel, S/N 2926c. Blued finish, blued small parts, checkered walnut grips. 1940 dated chamber, 42 code toggle, {Eagle}/655 inspection marks, standard Eagle proofs. All visible numbers matching. Accompanied by a black hardshell 1936 dated WILH.BRAND/HEIDELBERG marks, {Droop-Winged Eagle}/WaA204 inspected holster with an unmarked takedown tool. Includes two blued, aluminum based magazines, one numbered to the gun and one numbered 7705a+.

Condition:
Very good. Retains moderate amounts of thinning blue mixed with a smooth gray patina. Most of the loss and thinning is from holster wear and handling. Markings clear, mechanically functional, very good bore with scattered oxidation and some frosting. Grips with some smoothing and high edge wear, as well as some handling marks. Holster very good with scuffs and surface wear.
