**Mauser Banner 1940 P.08 Luger w/ Holster
9mm Parabellum. 4" barrel length. SN: 4371X. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with 8-shot removable magazine, stock lug, and fixed sights. Blued military finish to slide and frame, with checkered walnut grips. Military manufacture date 1940 is marked to front of breech, with Mauser (Banner) marked on center toggle link, and S/42 Mauser code under barrel. Features commercial (Eagle/N) proofs to left of slide and to left of center toggle link. It also has (Mauser G-date) military proof to barrel, and (German Eagle) military proof to right of slide. Serial number is stamped to front of frame, with partial serial numbers marked on left of frame, top of center toggle link, and to left side accoutrements. Marked GESICHERT on frame behind safety toggle. Aluminum knob magazine is marked 4001/M/+/(Eagle/G3) proof to bottom. Includes black leather military holster marked OTTO SINDEL/BERLIN/1941/(German Eagle) proof, and Luger takedown tool.

Condition:
Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Minor loss to finish near muzzle, left side of trigger guard and trigger plate. Some light pitting on trigger plate and front of frame. Holster is in good condition, but leather pouch has tightened around takedown tool, making it stuck in pouch.
