**Refurbished National Postal Meter M1 Carbine
.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 4129780. Parkerized and blued finish, oval-cut low-wood stock. Top of receiver marked NATIONAL / POSTAL METER over the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Sanded stock marked TRIMBLE / TN in sling cut, with weak boxed SA/SHM cartouche and {Ordnance Wheel} reverse. Two-rivet hand guard marked RMC on interior. Barrel unmarked. Flat bolt top, Type II rear sight, unmarked front sight, O marked Type III barrel band with bayonet lug, 7 marked trigger housing, LT-Q marked hammer. Throat erosion 1, muzzle erosion 1.5. Includes a single OI B marked 15-round Type II magazine, a reproduction Type I khaki sling and an oiler.

Condition:
Good as refurbished with most of the blue on the replacement barrel and some old Parkerizing on the receiver. Clear markings in metal, weaker in wood. Mechanically functional, very good bore is mostly bright with some oxidation closer to the muzzle that might clean out. Wood sanded with wear and scattered bumps and dings.
