**Royal Portuguese Army Contract DWM 1906 Luger Pistol

7.63mm, 4.75" barrel, S/N 435. Blued finish, strawed small parts, checkered wood grips. Chamber marked with the {CROWN}/M2 crest of King Manuel II, who ruled from 1908-1910. DWM logo on toggle, {Circled-Triangle} inspections throughout, matching numbers on frame, barrel, toggle, take-down latch and side plate. Grips safety, no stock lug. Includes a single, unmarked nickel magazine with a wood bottom. Approximately 5,000 of these pistols were delivered by DWM ca1909-1910.

Condition:

Good. Retains generous amounts of thinning blue with scattered oxidation and some light pinpricking. Small parts with minute traces of straw in protected areas. Clear markings, mechanically functional, very good bore is lightly frosted with some oxidation. Grips with some wear.
