Scarce Charles Lummis Privately Printed Album of Cyanotype Photographs,

titled The House that Lummis Built bound in olive cloth boards, 8vo; 16 4.5 x 7" cyanotype photographs mounted on woven deckled edge paper. Images include interior and exterior views of Lummis' house El Alisal, western artist Edward Borein and wife Lucile, Charlie Russell, and photographs of the prominent southern California Spanish Del Valli family. Tipped in at front of book is Lummis' typed curriculum vitae and in back, brief birthday notes dated February 1923, by W.H. Holmes, director of the National Art Gallery, Howard Elliot from the Northern Pacific Railway, and F. W. Hodge of the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation. Images with penciled inscriptions by Charles Lummis.

Condition:Couple small tears on few pages, else excellent.
