.45 ACP. 5.5" barrel length. SN: 85881. Double-action revolver with fluted swing out cylinder, military lanyard ring, cartridge extractor, and fixed notch and blade sights. Blued military finish and plain walnut grips. Markings include standard two-line manufacturer marks, (Flaming bomb) Ordnance acceptance mark to left of frame, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" under barrel, and "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 No. 114272" to butt of grips.
Good. Bore is frosty and has some residue to rifling. Finish has worn off of grip straps, is thinning on barrel, frame, and cylinder. Light scratches and pitting noted in scattered areas overall. Cylinder also shows a drag line the whole way around. Wood grips are in great condition.
