.30-06, 24" barrel, S/N 3419588. Parkerized finish, smooth walnut stock. Rear of receiver marked in four lines: U.S. RIFLE / CAL. .30 M1 / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY over serial number. Barrel marked 3-S-A-1-45. Stock with crisp boxed S.A. / NFR cartouche and crisp {Ordnance Wheel} on counterpane and with clear {Circle-P} on face of pistol grip. Receiver serial number and barrel date match closely for a January 1945 produced rifle with the receiver likely produced in December of 1944. Correct cartouche for this serial number range. Battle bar rear sight, 2SA bolt, 14SA trigger group, un-cut 9SA operating rod. Throat erosion 1, muzzle erosion 1. Includes an OD Green web sling.

Fine. Retains most of the finish with some light wear and minor loss. All markings clear and crisp. Mechanically functional, fine bore. Stock with scattered bumps, dings and mars and showing some wear.
