Condition:

Fine. Retains some blue on the barrel which has thinned and faded and blended nicely with a plum brown patina. All markings remain clear and crisp in metal, slightly softer in wood. Mechanically functional, fine bright bore. Stock crisp with scattered bumps, dings, mars and a few surface scuffs. A very nice example of a late 19th century US cadet rifle.
