**Springfield Model 1903 Rifle Rebuilt for WWII

.30-06, 24" barrel, S/N 954565. Parkerized finish, walnut single bolt, finger-groove S-stock. Standard four-line Springfield receiver markings over serial number. Counterpane with clear original Springfield J.F.C. boxed cartouche and weak AAS Augusta Arsenal rebuild mark. Two {Circle-P} proofs behind triggerguard. Barrel marked SA / {Ordnance Bomb} / 6-42. Includes a leather M1905 sling.

Condition:

Very good as rebuilt. Retains much of the applied Parkerizing with some thinning and loss with clear markings in metal and weaker markings in wood. Mechanically functional, good bore is moderately frosted with some oxidation with clear 4-groove rifling. Stock with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
