Chamber with standard two-line U.S. CARBINE / CAL. .30 M1 marking. Obverse stock with 1.05" boxed G.H.D. / U.E.F. {Ordnance Wheel} inspection, no {Circle-P} firing proof on base of pistol grip, P-U stamped in sling cut-out on reverse. Lower edge of 2-rivet hand guard marked M-U. Parkerized flat bolt top. Barrel marked UNDERWOOD / 10-43 / {Flaming Bomb}, EU marked front sight. Unmarked Type I barrel band, -U- marked hammer, AU marked smooth magazine release, S marked Type I rear sight. Throat erosion measures 2, muzzle erosion measures 3. Includes an IS marked Type I 15-round magazine, an OD Green sling with oiler and a 1942-dated J.Q.M.D. marked dual magazine pouch.
Condition:
Fine. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some light handling marks. All markings in wood and metal are clear and crisp. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock crisp with minute handling marks. Accessories all very good to fine.
