**US Military Colt Model 1909 Revolver
.45 Colt, 5.5" barrel, S/N 47155. Blued finish, smooth two-piece walnut grips. Matching serial numbers on butt, crane and frame. R.A.C. inspections under barrel, on rear face of cylinder and on upper right rear of frame. 6-shot fluted cylinder, standard Colt markings, swivel lanyard ring in butt.

Condition:
Very good. Retains some blue with wear and loss. Strongest blue present on the frame and in cylinder flutes, with wear and loss on barrel and cylinder and some scratch marks on the frame. Markings clear, mechanically functional, good bore with evenly scattered light to moderate pitting. Grips with expected wear and scattered marks.
