.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 4353237. Parkerized and blued finish, oval-cut high-wood stock. Top of receiver marked NATIONAL / POSTAL METER over the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Stock marked TRIMBLE / TN in sling cut, with clear boxed NPM/FJA cartouche and {Ordnance Wheel} reverse. Two-rivet hand guard marked IO on interior. Barrel marked IBM CORP. Flat bolt top, Type II rear sight, SN marked front sight, unmarked Type II barrel band, N16 marked trigger housing, WA marked hammer. Throat erosion 3.5, muzzle erosion 3.5. Includes a single UW marked 15-round Type I magazine, a Type iI OD Green sling and an oiler.

Condition:
Fine. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some thinning and wear. Clear markings in metal and wood. Mechanically functional, very good bore is mostly bright with some oxidation closer to the muzzle that might clean out. Wood fairly crips with some light wear and some scattered bumps and dings.
