9mm Parabellum. 4.5" barrel length. SN: 43800b. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with removable magazine, exposed hammer, and fixed u-notch and half moon sights. Blued military finish with checkered brown Bakelite grips. Features grooving to skeletonized hammer, thumb safety, slide lock, and checkering to magazine release. Markings include two-line Fabrique Nationale manufacturer address and Browning patent to left of slide. Left of slide and frame also features (Eagle/WaA140) next to (German Eagle) proofs on both. There is also a (Eagle/WaA140) mark to front of slide under muzzle. On right side of slide the serial number is marked just below ejection port, with a partial serial number marked to frame above trigger guard cutaway. Barrel is marked as well with (German Eagle) proof stamped above a partial serial number. Includes unmarked WWII-era brown leather holster.
Condition:
Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Item is a late war production and exhibits machine marks overall. There is some thinning to finish on top of slide, muzzle, and raised surface edges. Right side grip has a small crack behind grip screw, but are in great condition otherwise. Holster shows some darkened areas and light scratches overall.
