Very good. Retains traces of the brushed blue finish in protected areas with a pleasing plum brown patina blending with the remaining finish. Metal with clear markings and some scattered surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, bore very good, mostly bright with some frosting and lightly scattered oxidation. Grips with some wear and handling marks. An honest, solid WWI production Colt 1911 pistol.
